Keep group_by for legacy company/customer/product/group/material-center/state/salesperson series. It zero-fills missing buckets, reports bucket-over-bucket growth and a trailing rolling average, and can combine non-leading series into Others. Use busy_top_entities_by_metric for one ranked snapshot and a register only for transaction detail.
