How it behaves
Use this when the user needs a customer or customer-dimension × product-group matrix without transaction rows. Omit dimension for the existing one-row-per-customer result. Supply a canonical customer dimension for server-side dimension-value rows with distinct customer counts and aggregated product-group cells; resolve OF labels with busy_get_dimension_catalog first. Sparse and dense safeguards remain unchanged. Use penetration for bought-versus-missing coverage, not this metric matrix.
