How it behaves
Use this when the user asks for a compact sales, return, quantity, or invoice-count time series, including grouping or filtering by a configured customer/product field such as Territory Manager, Channel, Dealer Type, or Brand. Resolve configurable labels with busy_get_dimension_catalog and pass the canonical key in dimension; never guess OF1-OF10 meanings. Keep group_by for legacy company/customer/product/group/material-center/state/salesperson series. It zero-fills missing buckets, reports bucket-over-bucket growth and a trailing rolling average, and can combine non-leading series into Others. Use busy_top_entities_by_metric for one ranked snapshot and a register only for transaction detail.
