How it behaves
Use this when the user asks which customers, groups, products, material centers, states, salespeople, or values of one compatible scoped customer/product field have the highest or lowest sales, returns, quantities, or invoice counts. For labels such as Territory Manager, Channel, Dealer Type, or Brand, first resolve the label with busy_get_dimension_catalog and pass its canonical key in dimension; never guess an OF position. Keep entity_type for legacy dimensions. If both are supplied they must identify the same canonical key. Returns dense rank, complete-population contribution, comparison growth, and distinct customer/product counts in generic mode.
